Good food. Gumbo was good however a little bland, fried chicken had a good flavor on the outside the chicken. Not what I excepted from the amount of suggestions we got to go there.

Usually I rave about the roast beef poboy here. It's the best I've ever had until tonight Thursday Sept. 21. It was not good. I don't know if there's a new chef or bad meat. Something is different. Meat tastes freezer burned. Disappointed this time.

The food was good but not really worth the wait. Our server on the other hand was a hot mess. If he'd touched my arm one more time I was going to leave. He also forgot our drink order and had to come back.

There food is sooo good. Home cooked meals like my mom used to make. Great comfort food. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

We ate here last week and I was pretty disappointed this time. Our server Mike was great, my food was not. My fried chicken was technically fully cooked (not pink), but hardly. It was very chewy and tough. The mashed potato and gravy side dish was cold and OLD (discolored) The Mac and cheese was watery and no good. I think we will take a good long break from Mr. Ed’s.

Always a good experience. The people are friendly. The food is good. Not perfect but there's not much to complain about either. There is a wide variety of food on the menu. Something for everyone. Update 2023: first visit since the pandemic and it is the same old place as ever. Food is good. The staff are friendly. This is a wonderful, cozy, neighborhood restaurant. Highly recommended.

This is a true neighborhood restaurant. Very little parking. Good NO type food. Red beans and rice etc. The waiter was great. You will find locals not a tourist type restaurant.

Great atmosphere, good food. We really enjoyed it. Our waiter Mike was top notch. He went over and above to make us feel welcome and to know exactly what we were looking for. The fried catfish was fantastic. The gumbo was, as well. The jambalaya was somewhat dry, but they still get 5 stars for above on everything else. Don't miss this hidden little gem. It may look small on the outside, but you'll be glad you went.
